It has made it interesting to try to gameplan out, as the mock draft industry is wont to do; there are plenty of guys who I will not be shocked showing up on Friday what belonged on Thursday, and the inverse is also true. That said, I tried to find eight athletes in the upcoming draft that the Detroit Lions should target if they are available in Rounds 2 and 3.

Brad Holmes was more than happy to spend his 18th overall selection in 2023 on Jack Campbell, a move widely panned that turned into vindication quickly in Campbell’s career. Linebacker is a dynamic, fluid position.
