The cheapest trips on Brightline can take you up and down some of the most heavily congested parts of South Florida or to and from Orlando, but each trip can easily cost as much as a tank of gasoline. Fortunately, the privately run passenger train offers discounts on its double-digit fares, even on trains that run during its more popular times. One-way fares on Brightline's cheapest seats that usually cost more than $50 can be bought for dozens of dollars less.
