The development staff behind Lies of P are set to receive numerous bonuses as a result of hitting a big sales milestone. As reported by South Korean publication The Elec, the game and its recently released DLC Lies of P: Overture have now passed 3 million cumulative sales, taking all physical and digital sales on PC and console into account.

One of the reasons I’ve been covering video games for nearly two decades is because I still love that thrill of discovering something unexpected. Every now and then I’ll be presented with a game that completely takes me by surprise, and goes from something I previously had zero knowledge of, to an immediate entry near the top of my wishlist. At this year’s Summer Game Fest, that game was Out of Words.

Limited Run Games says it’s asked Nintendo to pull Gex Trilogy from the eShop because it’s currently not working on Switch 2. The publisher notes that 12 of its previously released games, which weren’t working on Switch 2, have all been fixed in the console’s recently released firmware update. The backwards compatibility report on Nintendo’s website lists 155 games that have “issues that prevent progress on Nintendo Switch 2, including games with start up issues”.

The co-founder of Limbo and Inside studio Playdead says he’s now being sued by the studio. Dino Patti – who co-founded Playdead with Limbo director Arnt Jensen – has said that after being threatened with legal action earlier this year, the studio’s lawyers intend to move forward with a lawsuit against him.

Been trying to find a good quality version of this for years. Can't stress how brilliant it is for those interested in this era. It's amazing that a doc crew was there to see Bandersnatch failing in real time and Imagine going bust – the bailiffs literally turn up at one point
