    How did you recognize NAEP Day this year? Many reveled in platitudes and short stories, mostly fiction, told to confirm our biases for this or that educational intervention. I’m reasonably intelligent, but I have always been terrible at NAEPery, even when I try my best. I usually grasp for a simple story that says everything is a failure and we need everything to change. That's not helpful or fun anymore.
