Asheville — (WLOS) McCormick Field has been hosting baseball games for more than a century. During the first century only two major renovations marked the passage of time, one in 1959 when the quarter-mile race track was removed from its perimeter and then again in the early 1990's when it was rebuilt in concrete. The third time might be a charm in terms of an overall face lift, but fans need to be prepared for a few curveballs along the way in 2025.
