Eckman will be installed on July 14 at a special Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland.

Mayor Ed Gainey has said the city police department will not cooperate with federal immigration officials, but Pittsburgh and Allegheny County have not designated themselves as sanctuary jurisdictions.
