The city has been working on obtaining the funding from the Government of Alberta but, following this year’s budget, their request was not fulfilled. Well, it’s official, I’ve been inside the Cenovus Energy Hub, the new arena in Lloyd. I really did feel like a kid in a candy store during Tuesday morning’s media tour. Staircases led upstairs, which would take you to the main arena and community rink.

At the May 20 meeting, council discussed appointing Charles McDonald and Sean Paterson as pest control inspectors.
