A 23-year-old Maryland man was found dead while he was on vacation with his family on Paradise Island in the Bahamas, police said on Wednesday. Dinari McAlmont, of Bowie, Maryland, was found unresponsive on a beach on Saturday, according to a statement from the Royal Bahamas Police Force. A spokesperson for Atlantis Paradise Island Bahamas confirmed on Wednesday that one of its guests died. Police said that a post-mortem examination revealed that McAlmont died as a result of drowning.

A South Carolina man who police say was seen in a “disturbing” video confronting a Latino man in a pickup truck and telling him he was going to be sent back to Mexico has been arrested on charges that include impersonating an ICE officer.
