MEMORIES REVISITED: Veterans on the beach in Normandy (Image: Robin Savage)The Taxi Charity for Military Veterans is delighted to announce it has received £15,000 in funding from the Army Benevolent Fund to help support two major acts of commemoration in 2025. The funding will go directly towards two of the charity's upcoming trips: to the Netherlands in May for the 80th anniversary of Dutch Liberation commemorations; and to Normandy in June to mark the 81st anniversary of the D-Day landings.

The tree planting took place at the heart of Duckyls Farm, a 100-acre residential care home run by the Diagrama Foundation, supporting adults with learning disabilities.
