Carmarthenshire Council has been celebrating the dedication and impact of volunteers at Theatrau Sir Gâr / Carmarthenshire Theatres as part of Volunteers’ Week. At Theatrau Sir Gâr, volunteers can get involved in a variety of roles through the Ambassadors programme. There are three venues Carmarthen's Lyric Theatre, Ffwrnes Theatre in Llanelli and Ammanford's Y Glowyr Theatre.

BEST FOOT FORWARD: Tony, Colin and David MillsThree brothers will lace up their walking boots and set off on Alfred Wainwright's iconic Coast to Coast route, trekking nearly 200 miles across Northern England to raise funds for the Taxi Charity for Military Veterans and to mark a very special birthday. Colin, Tony, and David Mills will take on the challenge on June 16, with this year's walk honouring Tony's 60th birthday.

DIAGRAMA FOUNDATION: Wilfred Njiri, Development Worker at Duckyls Farm Care Home near East Grinstead A Kenyan farmer has made a life-changing move from Africa to the UK to begin a new career at a charity-run care home for adults with learning disabilities in West Sussex. Wilfred Njiri, 43, recently joined Diagrama Foundation as a Development Worker at Duckyls Farm Care Home near East Grinstead. Previously, Wilfred managed crop cultivation and livestock on a farm in Kenya.
