    2 1/1 CITY had two representatives at this prestigious meet which is without doubt the most competitive swimming competition held in Great Britain every four years. Swimming as a junior in the 200m butterfly Sophia Gledhill, Harden, swam to a superb personal best time of 2.20.55. Her time was a club record in the 17/18yrs and Open category and placed her in twelfth position.

    Detectives investigating a series of suspicious blazes in Perth have put a $25,000 reward on the line as they hunt for a suspected arsonist. Emergency services were called to bushland at Stratton, in the city’s northeast suburbs, shortly after 2am on Friday following reports of a fire. In a statement, WA Police said the fire was being treated as suspicious and that investigators were urging anyone with information to come forward.

    Sophia Gledhill, Imogen Tiffany, Jasmine Shay and Alex Dunn CITY of Bradford had seven representatives at the recent North East Region Age Group Championships held at Sheffield Ponds Forge. Swimming as an eleven-year-old Isabelle Randhawa claimed a silver medal in the 50m freestyle and had top ten finishes in the 100m individual medley, 50m backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly and 100m freestyle.
