Detectives investigating a series of suspicious blazes in Perth have put a $25,000 reward on the line as they hunt for a suspected arsonist. Emergency services were called to bushland at Stratton, in the city’s northeast suburbs, shortly after 2am on Friday following reports of a fire. In a statement, WA Police said the fire was being treated as suspicious and that investigators were urging anyone with information to come forward.

The body of a female staff member has been found in the bathroom of a prestigious school in Sydney, as police search for her male colleague. The grim discovery was made just before midnight on Wednesday after emergency services were called to St Andrew’s Cathedral School on Kent Street, in the CBD, following reports of a concern for welfare. The woman is yet to be formally identified, however she is believed to be in her 20s and a staff member at the school.
