A Massachusetts man was arrested after allegedly leading police on a high-speed chase across two counties. Luis Andres Lorenzo Rondon, 24, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, has been charged with eluding an officer, reckless conduct with a dangerous weapon, driving to endanger and criminal speeding, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety. Police learned that shots were reportedly fired on Park Street in Paris about 11:33 p.m. Wednesday.

Police are still searching for whomever was behind the theft of a Ferrari from a Cape Neddick resort almost three years ago. The 2021 gray Ferrari CP 812GT was parked in the valet area of the Cliff House Resort, where a security guard last saw it about 11:30 p.m. on July 24, 2022. It was stolen overnight, and police found it off the road at the intersection of Route 1 and Mountain Road in York early the next morning. The Ferrari was valued at $400,000.

The investigation began Saturday after a death at a Canaan Road home, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety. A driver from Lebanon was seriously injured in a Monday morning crash on Interstate 95 in Kennebunk. Kelly Adams, 45, was driving a 2019 Nissan SUV north on I-95, near mile marker 23, about 8:48 a.m. when Adams rear-ended a 2022 Toyota SUV and then hit a 2004 Freightliner tractor-trailer stopped in the breakdown lane, according to Shannon Moss, a spokesperson for the Maine Department of Public Safety. Adams was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland with significant injuries.
