If a change to the grading policy is truly considered, it should focus on alleviating student pressure. The traditional grading system at Long Beach State employs letter grades, each assigned a corresponding point value on a scale. The highest grade is an “A,” valued at 4.0 points, while the lowest passing grade is a “C” worth 2.0 points.

1 INTRODUCTION Cystic fibrosis (CF) is a heritable disease caused by mutations in the gene encoding the CF transmembrane conductance regulator (CFTR) protein.1 CFTR is expressed throughout the pancreatic duct, and hepatobiliary and gastrointestinal (GI) tracts, where dysfunction contributes to the altered intestinal environment and GI symptoms that represent a significant source of morbidity for people with CF (pwCF).

I often take pictures of food. Takeout, dine-in, homecooked, no food is safe. It has become a ritual at this point. If it is not already in my mouth, it will get a quick picture before disappearing into the confines of my stomach. Do I post these online for others to see? Rarely. Do I find joy in creating aesthetic images. A little bit. Do I like showing off my mediocre cooking skills? Okay, guilty.. But the real reason has a little more nuance than my insatiable vanity. Pictures are timeless.
