Multiple energy dissipation modes in dynamic polymer networks with neutral and ionic junctions† Polymer networks with controlled ratios of neutral and ionic dynamic crosslink points were prepared from ethylene glycol, boric acid, and lithium hydroxide. Both neutral and ionic sites led to the emergence of distinct damping modes separate from the glass transition.
