A season of unforgettable successes ended in defeat for the Mainland Regional High School girls swim team Sunday afternoon in Piscataway. Chatham Township, from Morris County, put on a stunning display to defeat the Mustangs 105-65 for the Public B state championship at Rutgers University's Sonny Werblin Recreation Center. The Cougars not only won all 11 races but swept the top three places in each.

The St. Augustine Prep team won its third straight state Non-Public championship Sunday. The way the Hermits did it was possibly more impressive than the 3-peat itself. St. Augustine won all but one of the 11 races to defeat Pingry 121-49 at Rutgers' University's Sonny Werblin Recreation Center in Piscataway on Sunday. “It’s great to have talent on your team. St. Augustine has that winning talent, but we also have gamers,” Hermits coach Nick Fondacaro told PJ Potter for NJ.com.

A couple of hundred athletes from all over New Jersey coming to the Ocean City Music Pier on Saturday to compete in the South Jersey Indoor Rowing Championships. Among the high school rowers that competed: Cedar Creek, Christian Brothers Academy, Egg Harbor Township, Haddonfield, Holy Spirit, Mainland Regional, Ocean City, St. Augustine Prep and Absegami.
