    Highlands 41 — part of the San Antonio Winery empire — is a Monterey County operation named for Highway 41 and the nearby Creston Highlands. All wines are designed to be very budget friendly, though it seems that there’s only so far you can go on that front while keeping quality high. Note that the bottle design has changed since this release.

    Yeyo has always* been a solid tequila that refuses to release anything other than a blanco expression — or to go away. After a 2010 launch, the brand vanished, then was revived in 2019 at the same distillery. Now, finally, a new expression of Yeyo is on the market — and it’s not an aged tequila. This time around it’s a higher proof version of its silver bottling — though now it is billed as Blanco on the label (as is the old Silver).
