ST. ROBERT, Mo. (KY3) - Multiple law enforcement agencies are investigating a threat of violence made at a St. Robert Walmart Saturday evening. According to the City of St. Robert Facebook page, the call came from a fake internet-generated number. The city says out of an abundance of caution, the St. Robert Police Department responded immediately and conducted a full sweep of the store. The premises have been cleared by police, and there is currently no believed credible threat.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - The Rountree Council for Preservation held a historic homes tour on Saturday. Homeowners in the Rountree neighborhood opened their doors to the public to showcase their historic buildings. While the homes have been updated and partially remodeled since their construction, they’ve retained their historic character. The event raised money for the Roundtree Council’s mission of preserving historic buildings in Springfield.

The event features professional artists from around the world, Lego Masters contestants, and local builders. SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A bicyclist has died after a crash involving a car in Springfield Saturday early afternoon. According to the Springfield Police Department, the call came in around 11:35 a.m. near the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Broadmoor Street, near the Hazelwood Cemetery. Police say when the crash happened, an out-of-county ambulance was driving by and stopped to provide immediate aid. Officers arrived shortly after.

ST. CLAIR COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - A woman from Kansas City has died after a two-vehicle crash Friday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, around 3 p.m., a Nissan Kicks and a Chevrolet 2500 pick-up truck were going north on Missouri Highway 13 just north of Osceola. The crash happened when the two vehicles collided. Three women were in the Nissan.

According to the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, on May 6, a woman saw Jimmy Jones parked on a farm road and went to check on him. The woman told investigators Jones pointed a gun at her and drove away. As she drove off, she heard two gunshots. Police say Jones also followed the woman for a short while before turning down a different road.

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (KY3) - A Springfield woman has died days after a crash involving a bicycle. According to the Springfield Police Department, 43-year-old Jennifer Collier died from her injuries on May 9. The crash was on May 4. Police responded to the intersection of West Bypass and College Street on May 4 for a crash between a Nissan Armada and a bicyclist. Collier was riding her bicycle going west on College Street, attempting to cross West Bypass, when a car, driven by a 67-year-old man, hit her.

GREENE COUNTY, Mo. (KY3) - If you live in the county and you’re planning to tackle more of those downed branches and damaged trees this weekend, you have disposal options. With so many trees snapped off or uprooted, there’s a lot of debris left to move. If you’re able to, Greene County leaders suggest taking those limbs and logs to the Yardwaste Recycling Center west of Springfield. Another option is to contact the Greene County Office of Emergency Management.
