According to the City of St. Robert Facebook page, the call came from a fake internet-generated number. The city says out of an abundance of caution, the St. Robert Police Department responded immediately and conducted a full sweep of the store. The premises have been cleared by police, and there is currently no believed credible threat.

According to the Springfield Police Department, the call came in around 11:35 a.m. near the intersection of Glenstone Avenue and Broadmoor Street, near the Hazelwood Cemetery. Police say when the crash happened, an out-of-county ambulance was driving by and stopped to provide immediate aid. Officers arrived shortly after.
