INTRODUCTION Feedback paradigms are shifting from educator-centered to learner-centered processes.1 Despite this conceptual shift, practice norms suggest that medical educators and supervisors often engage in unidirectional feedback conversations, i.e., transmitting information to the learner. This leaves the learner with little room to engage in the dialogue.2 In higher education, developing feedback literacy has been proposed as a solution to enhancing learner engagement in feedback processes.
