UPDATE: The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency says two boats crashed around 5:50 p.m. Sunday. One woman was fatally injured and two others were injured. A 20 ft Avid Center Console, operated by 19-year-old Robert T. Lofton of Lucedale, Miss., struck a 26 ft Regulator Center Console vessel, operated by Jerry Hocutt Jr., 52, according to ALEA. Both operators were uninjured after the crash. Brittney Sherman, 27, was thrown overboard following the collision.

SARALAND, Ala. (WALA) - One woman is missing and a child is injured following a boating accident in Bayou Sara, authorities say. Saraland Police Chief J.C. West confirmed there is an active search for a missing woman in the water. Late Sunday afternoon, West says, two boats collided with each other off Bayou Sara. We’re told a young child has been airlifted to the hospital. A dive team has been deployed in the water. Mobile Fire-Rescue and Saraland Fire-Rescue have responded.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - Some families are on edge after a naked man was caught on camera multiple nights in a row in a Tillman’s Corner neighborhood. A neighbor described the moments the alarming sight when the naked man showed up on her ring camera video. He was wandering across her lawn at four in the morning. “I just went and looked at my cameras and I was looking for my cat and instead I see a completely nude, except for socks, man, walk by,” she said.

City leaders had the chance to hear the community’s thoughts on this year’s new music festival, Sand in my Boots, and whether or not they should bring it back next year. “No venue should ever be allowed to block public access to the public beach, the boulevard, the water that we swim in…never be blocked,” said a Gulf Shores resident.
