On Tuesday, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office reported two drownings near Destin Beach. Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office investigating double drowningInvestigators say a husband and wife from Buford, GA were pulled from the water, unresponsive. Lifesaving measures were performed on the couple, but were unsuccessful.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - A Moss Point man has been indicted for manslaughter, in connection to a deadly crash in Mobile last year. Crash in Mobile County kills 1 Mississippi man, injures anotherShawn Kruse was booked into Metro Jail over the weekend. According to the crash report, on June 15, 2024 Kruse collided head-on with John Holyfield, 66, from Lucedale, Mississippi. Kruse was transported to University Hospital for medical treatment.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA/Gray News) - A school bus driver fell asleep while driving, according to a crash report. The report says on Feb. 12, Angela Lane Weaver, 47, fell asleep, ran off the road and overcorrected. The bus then ran off the road, hit a ditch and tree before overturning on Mason Ferry Road in Mobile, Alabama. The bus was carrying 14 students. Seven were injured in the crash, according to the report.

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) - The crash report for the Mobile County Public School System bus crash has been released stating the driver had fallen asleep while driving. The report says the driver had fallen asleep, ran off the road on the right, then overcorrected. The bus then ran off the left side of the road, struck a ditch, a tree, and overturned. The bus had overturned on Feb. 12 on Mason Ferry Road. The school system said the bus was coming from Mary G.
