Riverside pitcher Annaliese Davis pitched a shutout and hit a two-run home run. Davis sported a bandage and a black eye in the postgame press conference after being hit in the face by a ball during fielding practice on Friday.     Waynedale held off Central Catholic 6-3 in an OHSAA Division V regional final. Both teams had eight hits. All of them were singles except a big solo home run by Waynedale's Brayden Steiner. Dylan Minnie and Jeremy Earley had two hits each for Central. Austin Coy had a diving catch for Central that saved at least two runs. Coy started despite injuring his ankle pitching in the regional semifinals.
