The crash happened just after 1 a.m. at the intersection of Paradise and Flamingo Roads. The intersection is shut down as they investigate the crash, according to Las Vegas police. The driver of the vehicle did not stay on scene, a Metro lieutenant told FOX5. They are “actively working the case,” he said. The pedestrian was transported to an area hospital with critical injuries.

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The 215 westbound in Henderson is shut down as Nevada State Police investigate a deadly crash. The crash happened just after 5:30 a.m. Tuesday on the 215 at Green Valley Parkway. Police are diverting drivers off the freeway at Valle Verde Drive. All westbound lanes are shut down. “This crash involved a motorcycle and a sedan. One man has been confirmed deceased on scene,” Trooper Shawn Haggstrom said in a news release.

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - A large fight in the parking lot of a Henderson water park led to a shooting Friday night. Henderson Police Department responded to Cowabunga Bay in the 900 block of Galleria Drive near Boulder Highway around 11 p.m. As they arrived, people started dispersing and were asked to leave the premises, police said. Officers left the scene, but a short time later, a separate fight broke out and gunshots rang out, according to the news release.

    LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) - The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a shooting in the central valley Monday morning. Metro police responded to the 3600 block of Cambridge Street near Twain and Maryland Parkway just after 5:30 a.m. When patrol officers arrived, they found a man suffering from gunshot wounds. The man was transported to a nearby hospital with critical injuries, a Metro lieutenant said. Detectives are on the scene, and Metro says they will take over the investigation.

Las Vegas police said in a news release the crash happened just after 3:30 a.m. near the intersection of Flamingo Road and Las Vegas Boulevard. Police said the driver left the scene but later located the suspected vehicle a “short distance away” from the crash. The car was “unoccupied.”The area will be closed as investigators process the scene. This is a developing story.
