Nintendo closed its Switch 2 reveal stream with two major new entries in series that haven’t been seen in quite some time, one of which was the long-awaited return of Kirby Air Ride, titled Kirby Air Riders. All we have so far is a cinematic trailer, a 2025 launch window, and the reveal that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate director Masahiro Sakurai would be helming the project.

The game appears to be a mix of life-sim and school-sim, set in both the magical academy and the surrounding town and allowing players to customize their own home and play alongside friends.
