The 2025 NBA Finals series between the Thunder and Pacers is one of the most lopsided in history—at least based on the odds. Oklahoma City is favored somewhere from -650 to -750, depending on the sportsbook, making the matchup one of the 10 most-lopsided NBA Finals, according to Sports Odds History. In sports, there are unprecedented underdog feats. And then there’s what Lois Boisson is doing at the 2025 French Open, her home Grand Slam. Boisson, a wild-card qualifier ranked No. 361, defeated world No. 6 Mirra Andreeva on Wednesday to advance to the women’s singles semifinals at Roland-Garros. According to ESPN, she’s the third-lowest-ranked player to advance to a Grand Slam semifinal in the last 30 years. She’s also the first player to make the semis in her Grand Slam debut in 35 years.

The previous high was 7.35 million for Game 4 of the first-round series between the Timberwolves and Lakers on ABC. The entire six-game series averaged 7 million viewers, up 10% from last year’s series (Celtics vs. Pacers, a four-game sweep).

Last year, each player on the Las Vegas Aces received $100,000 from a sponsorship deal with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), which prompted an investigation from the WNBA. There is still no verdict from that investigation—and the LVCVA is continuing its partnership with Aces players. According to the Las Vegas Review-Journal, each Aces player will receive another $100,000 this year—which is about 40% of the highest annual salary of any WNBA player.
