Joseph and Katharine Jackson moved into a 672-square-foot home in Gary, Indiana in 1950. Together, they raised nine children in that tiny home and turned them into some of the greatest performers of all time. The couple had seven sons Jackie, Tito, Jermaine, Marlon, Brandon, Michael, and Randy. Sadly, Brandon, Marlon’s twin, died a short time after birth. The couple also had three daughters Rebbie, La Toya, and Janet Jackson.

James Lowe, a pioneer in the psychedelic rock genre, has died. His family shared the heartbreaking news of his passing on The Electric Prunes’ Facebook page. “It is with heavy and electric hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved dad, James Lowe – lead singer and founder of The Electric Prunes. He passed away peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025, surrounded by music, our incredible mom, and the three of us – his kids: Lisa, Cameron, and Skylar,” his family wrote.

Valerie spent nearly 50 years in show business, with notable performances in Northern Exposure, Desperate Housewives, and Young Sheldon. She had tremendous comedic timing and made dozens of appearances as a character actress. Valeria Mahaffey delivered laughs on Cheers, Seinfeld, and Frasier. Her husband, Joseph Kell, confirmed Valerie’s death to Variety.
