James Gunn's Superman will mark the release of a brand-new vision of the DC Universe on film, and a new take on the Man of Steel thanks to David Corenswet. Recently, fans got to see a snippet of Superman thanks to a special sneak peek attached to screenings of A Minecraft Movie, with said sneak peek dropping onto the internet as well. Superman is shown crashing to Earth, wounded by a mysterious figure.

The Matrix is one of the films that made cinematic history. In addition to inspiring a wave of action films in the early 2000s, including Underworld and Equilibrium, it helped launch the second act of Keanu Reeves' career. It also apparently helped save a Warner Bros. executive's job, according to Lilly Wachowski. Like any successful film, The Matrix would receive sequels in the form of The Matrix Reloaded, The Matrix Revolutions, and The Matrix Resurrections.
