Arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC) is an inherited cardiomyopathy characterized by progressive fibro-fatty replacement of the myocardium which predisposes patients to ventricular arrhythmias (VAs) and sudden cardiac death (SCD).1 Prevention of SCD through the placement of an implantable cardioverter-defibrillator (ICD) thus represents a mainstay of ARVC management.
