I, like much of America, have been playing College Football 25 from 5 to 11 p.m. every day for the past week. I love this game in a way most people only love their spouses and children. What an unreal accent. You couldn't get this guy to pronounce a "w" if you put a gun to his head. Just not happening. Every game this legend officiates needs to be put on television in Western Pennsylvania. Just when people started talking about North Carolina as a legitimate College Football Playoff contender, the Tar Heels laid maybe the biggest egg of anyone in the country this season and lost to 1-5 Virginia at home as 24-point favorites. You could have had me list every unranked team in the Power Five and I honestly think Virginia would have been the very last one on my list to have beaten a Top 10 team on the road this season. IOWA!!! In a game with the lowest total in FBS history, the Hawkeyes win with just 10 offensive points after an electric punt return touchdown from Cooper DeJean!Oh no ... I get that DeJean makes some sort of signal with his arms, but that is not a fair catch. He's clearly pointing with one arm telling his teammates to get away from the ball. That's an awful break in that spot. And you knew damn well there was no chance Iowa's offense was doing anything with the game on the line after that.

Everything was so great. Even after settling for a couple field goals early in the game, Tennessee was leading Alabama by two touchdowns at halftime. The Vols were decidedly the better team on the field and looked like they were going to put a definitive end to the Nick Saban dynasty. Even Alabama fans were reminiscing on the good old days at halftime, seemingly accepting that the run was coming to an end today. And then the second half happened. It didn't even look like the same two teams.

The meatriding is crazy. We're not even at halftime yet and Gus Johnson has already broken out "Maserati Marv" about a dozen times. I will say I've never really been a Gus Johnson guy - not every play has to be the greatest thing you've ever seen - but whether you like him or not, it seems like everyone on the internet is in relative agreement that "Maserati Marv" needs to be left in the first half of this game. We all know Marvin Harrison Jr. is awesome and fast. You can just call him by his name.
