RCMP crack down on vehicle theft spree near Calgary

Southern Alberta RCMP Crime Reduction Unit (SAD CRU) arrests two in connection with vehicle theft spree. "On May 21, SAD CRU entered into an investigation for a string of vehicle thefts, primarily in the rural area east of Calgary," stated RCMP. The investigation led to the identification of a suspect. With support from RCMP officers in Airdrie, Strathmore, Gleichen, Vulcan, and High River, SAD CRU deployed a bait truck equipped with GPS tracking in the area.
