Travis Decker, the man suspected of kidnapping and murdering his three young daughters, may have cut his hair or changed his appearance while hiding from police. This is according to a press release from the Chelan County Sheriff's Office, which on Tuesday released three new digitally altered photos of Decker, showing him with different hairstyles. Authorities hope these may help people in the area recognize him if they see him, in the event that he changed his appearance.

Police have launched a homicide investigation after finding a woman's body in an apartment in Seattle's Bitter Lake neighborhood on Sunday. Officers were called around 12:20 p.m. to reports of a body inside an apartment near 12th Ave NE and NE 143rd St. Police entered the apartment and found an unresponsive 31-year-old woman who showed "obvious signs" of trauma. Fire personnel declared her dead at the scene.

The City of Longview agreed to a $2 million wrongful death settlement in the police shooting of Katelyn Rose Smith, who was killed on Jan. 1, 2024. Smith's family, represented by attorney Mark Lindquist and Angus Lee, announced they had reached a settlement with the city, and they will receive $2 million to put the case to rest. The backstory: Smith was suffering a mental health crisis, and her partner called 911 for help.

Two Pierce County parents have been charged in the death of their 15-month-old boy, who died in March after ingesting fentanyl. On March 13, police officers and fire personnel were called to a "CPR in progress" alert at an apartment complex near 100th St E and 221st Ave E. Firefighters treated a young toddler at the apartment, then transported him to the hospital, where he died a few days later. The Pierce County Medical Examiner's Office determined he died of acute fentanyl toxicity.

Two women are dead after a tragic bus accident in Seattle's First Hill neighborhood Tuesday morning. Seattle police say the incident happened at the Hilltop House retirement community, located at Terry Ave and Terrace St. Two residents of the community, a 70- and 80-year-old woman, were lounging in the smoking area when a Hilltop House bus backed into them and ran them over. What we know: Police and fire officials say the bus suffered a "malfunction" which led to the accident.
