SPOKANE, Wash. -- Three new lilac trees were recently planted at Chief Garry Park near the center ball field. Spokane Urban Forestry said these trees will provide shade for spectators while enhancing the park's beauty with its breathtaking blooms. CHENEY, Wash. -- Cheney Police are looking for the people responsible for breaking into a local coffee shop overnight. According to police, rocks were used to shatter the windows of the Jar Coffee Stand on Betz Road between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. Once the window was smashed, a tip jar was stolen from the business. CPD said the damage is estimated at over $1,000.
