Chocolate chip cookies, aka CCCs, are one of America’s favorite cookies for a reason. They can be soft and chewy, thin and crisp-edged, or thick and gooey. There are literally millions of CCC recipes out there. I mean, not to roast Simply Recipes (okay, maybe just a little!), but we have at least 19 chocolate chip cookie recipes to bake and share. I can upgrade the vinaigrette with the umami powerhouse that’s always stocked in my pantry: soy sauce.
