Hannah Nuhfer has officially cemented herself as the greatest discus thrower in South Jersey history. The Delsea junior shattered the South Jersey record with a N.J. No. 2 all-time mark of 178-9, clinching her first New Balance Nationals title Friday morning. The previous South Jersey record was set by Delsea’s Jocelyn White in 2004. Nuhfer now owns both of Delsea’s school records in the shot put (47-9) and discus. Nuhfer’s throw was historic in even more ways.
