Diorian Coleman just finished his fourth season as an assistant coach for the University of the Cumberlands, an NAIA school located in Williamsburg, Ky. Now he is about to start his first as the head coach of Ellsworth Community College. The AGWSR Cougars (6-12) used two homeruns and a solid pitching performance to end the Colo-NESCO Royals (3-12) in less than four full innings. But it was a come-from-behind 12-2 win. Coming off a pair of wins in Eldora the night before, the Cougars got an early start with the Royals in Ackley Tuesday night. The 5 p.m. varsity start started with the Cougars putting up a run in the bottom of the first with Trevyn Smith leading off with a single and a stolen base.

One, the sharing agreement with Friends of Prairie Bridges Park, has been an issue of formally establishing responsibilities. The other, emergency medical services, has been about establishing a local presence. Mike Fistler, president of the PBP Board, presented two options for an agreement, which has been some three years in the making.
