1 INTRODUCTION Sensitivity analysis aims to quantify how changes to a mathematical model impact the predictions of that model. This can be important for quantifying the uncertainties of model predictions due to uncertainties in parameter estimates, for assisting with parameter estimation from data, or for identifying points of effective control or manipulation in managed systems (e.g. Caswell, 2000, 2001, 2019; Saltelli et al., 2008).
