There were two Final Four Cape and Islands matchups with Martha's Vineyard and St. John Paul II in girls tennis, and Nauset and Falmouth in boys lacrosse. That guarantees two Cape and Islands teams going to the championship.

They talent on the Cape and Islands for boys tennis is unmatched, no pun intended. There were 12 teams that made the MIAA state tournament, and the Cape Cod Academy boys had a an unbeaten regular season. The Atlantic Division champion Vineyarders went undefeated (10-0) in league play and had the most all-stars with seven. In the Lighthouse Division, the league champion, who also went unbeaten, the Seahawks had the most All-Star selections with five.

There were eleven Cape and Islands girls tennis teams that made the playoffs this season. That success was due to singles and doubles performances by the players listed below. Martha's Vineyard went 10-0 in league play to clinch a league title for the Atlantic Division, while St. John Paul II matched that in the Lighthouse Division with a 10-0 league play for their division title. Both teams had the most All-Star selections with six each in their respective divisions.
