TUCSON, Ariz (KGUN) — Pima County will be offering measles vaccine at local schools this summer. With serious measles outbreaks in other parts of the country, supervisors voted to send Pima County Health Department workers to schools that have lower than average vaccination rates. County Health Director Doctor Theresa Cullen says the mobile vaccination clinics for the Measles, Mumps and Rubella shots will only come to schools that agree to host them.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Pima County Supervisors are considering what to do with the horse racing track at Rillito Park. In Tuesday's Board meeting, supervisors heard from a youth soccer booster who urged them to move racing somewhere else and devote the entire park to soccer, pickleball and other community uses. Rillito Park has hosted horse racing since the 1940s, but right now Pima County has no contractor willing to run the racing operation.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — To help relieve a shortage of affordable places to live, Pima County Supervisors are devoting a larger share of property tax dollars to build more affordable housing. The move will not raise taxes for the coming tax year. Pima County supervisors are trying to relieve homelessness by encouraging developers to build more housing low income people can afford to rent.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — We have been working to solve a mystery. What is the big new business Pima County is trying to attract to a large plot of land near the Fairgrounds? We do know the name of another company being courted to bring its business to Southern Arizona. Plans for the site near the Fairgrounds are so secret that Pima County gave it a code name—Project Blue. No one will name the company. Now we are learning of another tech company with potential for Southern Arizona.
