SOUTH TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Spanish Trail motel used to be the pride of South Tucson. Now, it’s not. It’s a burned-out hulk and the City of South Tucson is suing the owner to try to force him to clear it out. The Spanish Trail Motel is a charred shadow of the days when it had the prestige of a place that could bring in national entertainment acts. It closed in the 1990s. A series of fires left it beyond repair and a health risk because it was built using toxic asbestos.

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — We’ve already had some wildfires in Southern Arizona this Spring.Now Pima County has released a refined plan to reduce the risk of wildfires. Supervisors heard more about the plan at their meeting Tuesday. There are plenty of places in Pima County where wildland, very vulnerable to fire, is very close to homes and there’s a real danger fire could spread. Now Pima County is developing a better wildfire plan of mitigation and response.

My doctor said, if it could go wrong, it went wrong.”Cliff Wade says when his appendix burst he spent three months in the Tucson VA Hospital. He says he got great care from great medical professionals but there wasn’t enough of them.
Student deportations on hold

TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Trump Administration is reinstating foreign student visas it terminated as it worked to deport roughly fifteen hundred international students across the country, including in Arizona. Students have been winning temporary orders to prevent their deportations. The Federal Government is effectively reinstating visas it pulled from international students by putting the names of foreign students back in the database used to track visas.
