    Parades return Dec. 5, 10 and 14 in Farmington, Aztec and Bloomfield The annual Farmington Christmas parade will take place at 5:30 p.m., Thursday. The 2024 theme is “Zia Christmas.” Participants are encouraged to incorporate the Zia symbol into their displays. The parade begins at Wall Street and proceeds along Main Street to Auburn Avenue, lighting up the Historic Downtown Farmington. Families can look forward to the floats, carolers and an appearance by Santa Claus.

    The San Juan College Orchestra will be led by Dr. Teun B. Fetz as they showcase a variety of pieces sure to appeal to a range of musical tastes on Friday, Nov. 22 at 7 p.m. in the Henderson Fine Arts Center Performance Hall. Mira Quackenbush, an adjunct music instructor for San Juan College, will perform as the violin soloist on Tchaikovsky’s Concerto for Violin during the piece’s first movement.
