A total of 664 plasma samples from 602 patients were collected across 18 cancer types, together with samples of 203 healthy controls (Additional file 3: Table S2). Lung cancer patients and healthy individuals were recruited following informed consent via the Liquid Biopsy Center at the Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc and location AMC (study approved by the Amsterdam UMC ethics board, METC U2019_035).
