DiscussionThis study reported on prognostic factors of perinatal mortality in eoFGR between 20 and 30 weeks of gestation in a fetus at risk approach, to be used as information for parental counseling in case of eoFGR. Overall, as expected, survival rates were worse at lower EFW ratios, lower FAC ratios, higher UA PI ratios, higher UtA PI and AREDflow in the UA. Also, male sex, non-Caucasian ethnicity and lower PlGF levels were predictors for perinatal mortality.

In total, 158 GPs completed the questionnaire, which represents a 25.4% response rate over the estimated eligible population (621, based on OECD statistics). No surveys were excluded as they all had a minimum of 50% of sections fulfilled. The median age of participants was 40 years (IQR 35–49) and 52% (n = 82) were female. 85% (n = 135) of those surveyed were Spanish, of which 9% (n = 15) had dual nationality (European or Latin American) (Table 1).

•Widespread screening is frequently assumed to be an effective way to reduce their prevalence and sequelae. The available evidence, however, supports a pathogen-specific approach to screening. •HIV and syphilis are good candidates for screening, as both cause serious systemic infections and detectable serological responses. Early detection of these infections enables the initiation of life-saving treatment whilst preventing further transmission.

A total of 664 plasma samples from 602 patients were collected across 18 cancer types, together with samples of 203 healthy controls (Additional file 3: Table S2). Lung cancer patients and healthy individuals were recruited following informed consent via the Liquid Biopsy Center at the Amsterdam UMC, location VUmc and location AMC (study approved by the Amsterdam UMC ethics board, METC U2019_035).

The Dutch government established emergency shelters and introduced preventive measures for homelessness services. There were no major SARS-CoV-2 outbreaks noticed among PEH during the first two waves of infections.
