ENFIELD, Conn. — Following a run to remember on the hardwood, a pair of Huskies gave UConn women’s basketball fans an experience to remember during an appearance at a local fast-food chain Wednesday. At Raising Cane’s in Enfield, UConn guards Azzi Fudd and KK Arnold met with fans, signed autographs, took photos and even put in work manning the front counter and drive-through.

NEW HAVEN, Conn. — A New Haven federal grand jury returned an indictment Wednesday charging a 31-year-old woman from China with escape from the custody of the Attorney General. Xiaoqin Yan has been federally charged, according to a release on Friday from the Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of Connecticut. The indictment claims that Yan escaped from the Federal Satellite Low facility at the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury on Dec. 10, 2024.
