Dalvin Cook remains one of the top running backs on the open market. No agreement is imminent at this point, but he does appear to be on the radar of potential new teams. When speaking about his ongoing free agency, Cook said he has been “taking calls” from teams eyeing an addition in the backfield. The four-time Pro Bowler’s value obviously took a hit in 2023, a season in which he hardly saw the field. Cook’s Jets tenure involved just 67 scoreless carries and it ended in less than one year.

Welcome to Saturday’s 8-game NHL Slate. This is a very competitive slate with most of the games being rather even matchups, aside from the massively favored Boston Bruins hosting the Montreal Canadiens. The most exciting game on the card is the Vancouver Canucks hosting the Toronto Maple Leafs, but we also have the always-entertaining Battle of Alberta between the Edmonton Oilers and Calgary Flames.

The NY Jets agreed to mutually part ways with running back Dalvin Cook on Tuesday, allowing him the opportunity to sign with a playoff contender ahead of the postseason. Cook wasted little time agreeing to a deal to join the Baltimore Ravens' practice squad shortly after clearing waivers on Thursday. The Ravens hope that Cook can provide additional running back depth as they enter the playoffs. However, if recent history is anything to go on, the Ravens shouldn't be expecting much from Cook.

I’ve said it all year - the FFPC weekly fantasy football contests are quickly becoming my top weekend slate format. And that’s because there’s no salary, no draft, and, my favorite aspect, no stacking. A key rule is that you can only pick one player from each team so no more getting steamrolled by whoever stacks Joe Flacco with Amari Cooper. And since that’s the only big lineup constraint, you can create MONSTER teams with tons of flexibility.

NY Jets running back Dalvin Cook is not happy with his current role, and he made his frustrations clear when speaking to reporters on Thursday. Cook discussed potential trade rumors while insisting that his lack of playing time in recent weeks has been "frustrating."Although Cook stopped short of requesting a trade, he did imply that he could talk to his agent and Jets general manager Joe Douglas about the possibility. The Jets are reportedly shopping Cook ahead of this Tuesday's trade deadline.
