Jack Della Maddalena knew he had to get ready for a war when preparing to face Belal Muhammad at UFC 315, and that’s exactly what the fight delivered. The back-and-forth battled ended up earning Fight of the Night honors after Muhammad lived up to his promise prior to the event to show off his striking and largely avoid takedowns. Perhaps that is what ultimately cost Muhammad his title, although Della Maddalena wasn’t totally shocked by his approach.

While she had to battle through a couple of close rounds, Shevchenko did far more damage after breaking Fiorot’s nose with a devastating punch in the opening round and then scoring a knockdown in the fourth that helped keep her ahead on the scorecards.

The deal for Holly Holm to potentially team up with Jake Paul has been in the works for a while. I first heard rumors back with this in April but nothing was official. Now Holm is back in boxing with her return booked in June.

Ex-UFC champ Holly Holm is currently pursuing options for a potential return to boxing, per her manager Lenny Fresquez. Holm got her release from UFC and she ended up signing with GFL where she was scheduled to face Julia Budd on one of the cards that was just cancelled.
