    MILFORD — Executives from local company Waters Corp. got to start their workday on Tuesday with a ding. A contingent of Waters executives, including CEO Udit Baltra, were invited to Wall Street to ring the opening bell for Tuesday's trading on the New York Stock Exchange. They were joined by Joseph Tama, NYSE listings regional head, Northeast, for the occasion. The ringing of the bell declares when trading begins each weekday (at 9:30 a.m. EST) and when it must stop (4 p.m. EST).

    HOPKINTON —The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) announced this morning that the right two lanes on the Mass Pike (Interstate 90) westbound at the Interstate 495 interchange have been closed for emergency repair operations after a construction trench settlement formed in the low-speed lane due to nearby construction.  In a press release, MassDOT officials said crews are working to fix the issue and reopen lanes.
