The answers to the questions that will define various NFL teams in 2025 won’t begin to uncover themselves until training camps commence in July. But between rookie camps, minicamps and OTAs, The Athletic’s beat writers have plenty to ponder for now. How have new head coaches adjusted in their first practices? Has an embattled player arrived looking like a remade version of himself? Has a free-agent addition impressed early? What about a rookie who’s changed the outlook on an anticipated camp battle?

Everywhere James Harrison went during Super Bowl week this year, he heard it. Fans yelled it at him as he walked to the New Orleans convention center from the Loews Hotel. Reporters asked him during interviews on radio row. NFL brothers Jerome Bettis, Nate Burleson, Cam Heyward, Deion Sanders all had the same query. The wallpaper on his laptop reads "Don't Overthink S-."He cues up a song called "Destiny" that he tracked and mixed.

In a banquet room decorated for Christmas, a group of coaches' kids were entertained by Santa Claus. There were awesome presents for the Michigan football team - high-end swag, including commemorative watches. The Wolverines were gathered at the Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach the night before Christmas to prepare to play Alabama in the 2000 Orange Bowl, and this was a night of celebration. John Spytek, though, wasn't feeling very festive. He wouldn't be playing in the game.

James Harrison has been known for his famous glare — the furrowed brow and stare into the soul. These days, his eyes are sending a different message. My story on the journey of a man who once was the NFL's notorious intimidator. https://t.co/cl8uNgryYt https://t.co/UHNan8Oyop
