The New York Giants have just $1.6 million in salary cap space, the lowest amount in the league according to the NFLPA. That will surely change soon because $1.6 million isn't nearly enough cap space to sign their draft class. The Giants will also need additional cap space down the road for in-season expenses, including the practice squad and injury replacements.

The New York Giants, who entered the offseason with no quarterbacks under contract, suddenly have a surplus at the position. Jaxson Dart was picked in the first round of the draft, joining veterans Russell Wilson, Jameis Winston and Tommy DeVito. That crowded room has led to speculation that the Giants could trade Winston to the New Orleans Saints, who are left with three quarterbacks with seven combined career starts after the surprise retirement of veteran Derek Carr.

The dream for every undrafted free agent is to become the next Victor Cruz. Even being the next Tommy DeVito would be a monumental achievement for most undrafted players. The reality is it's unlikely that most UDFA will become household names. But that doesn't mean there isn't a real chance for an undrafted player to make the New York Giants' roster. Last year, offensive lineman Jake Kubas, defensive lineman Casey Rogers and kicker Jude McAtamney all appeared in games as undrafted rookies.

The New York Giants hope every player added to the roster this offseason will help turn the team into a winner. New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen is "excited" about the roster he's assembled, but he cautioned after the NFL Draft that "it's just on paper." The roster will transition to the field soon enough.

The Giants announced the signing of Moore, the re-signing of Lil’Jordan Humphrey and the release of two UDFAs: CB RJ Delancy and S Tommy McCormick

The Giants are signing CB TJ Moore, who was a tryout at rookie minicamp, per source. Moore had seven interceptions last season at Mercer. The 6-foot, 187-pound Moore ran a 4.44-second 40 at his pro day. Here's his scouting report from @dpbrugler: https://t.co/GCQtTuhe4y

With @art_stapleton reporting that WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey re-signed (unusual to do that type of juggling with a 90-man roster), the Giants will need to open at least two roster spots today
