Jana Knapp has been playing golf since she was young, but didn’t take the sport seriously until high school. Her lack of passion made it hard to improve. Not anymore. In the fall, she's headed to Northwest Nazarene University in Idaho on a partial scholarship for golf — a feat she didn't realize she could pursue until last year. Knapp was also caught by surprise after placing 10th at the 2A girls golf state tournament last season.
