Charlotte Bennett and Helen Langley from Dudley Council's Home Improvement Service receiving the commendation from Carl Petrokofsky, of Public Health England. A DUDLEY Council service has been commended for its work in helping to tackle social care issues such as loneliness and winter related deaths. The council’s Home Improvement Service outshone about 200 organisations to win a commendation at the national Foundations award.

Dudley Council’s housing service’s construction team are among the winners in the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2015.
